Expressive Seascape in Oils
Join me for a creative afternoon of expressive mark making and seascape painting in oils.
Whether you’re completely new to oil painting or looking to explore the medium further, this relaxed, hands-on workshop will introduce you to expressive techniques for creating your seascape painting.
Together, we’ll explore the beauty of the sea through colour, mark making and oil paint, working step by step towards your own individual seascape.
 
What to expect
Explore expressive mark making. We will collaborate marks on a large canvas - Brush, splash, layer and play with texture using brushes and palette knives.
Learn oil painting techniques, mix your colours, build layers. create depth and movement within your seascape.
You’ll work on a 12 × 16 inch canvas, with plenty of support throughout the afternoon.
Enjoy a complimentary coffee and cake from 51 Degrees Coffee while you paint.
All painting materials are included and you’ll leave with your very own seascape painting to take home and enjoy.
Please bring an apron, or wear something you don’t mind getting a little paint on.
